The village of Châtel-Censoir

Before venturing any further, take the time to explore Châtel-Censoir, a little gem perched on the banks of the Nivernais Canal. Small yet full of charm, Châtel-Censoir is a haven of tranquility where time seems to stand still. Watch the barges slowly passing through the locks and soak up the peaceful atmosphere of the port. Overlooking the village from its hilltop perch, the 13th-century Saint-Potentien Church offers a breathtaking view of the valley.
